Alessandro Alberi Salo is a highly skilled luthier with a profound passion for crafting and restoring stringed instruments. With over 19 years of experience, he has earned recognition and trust among renowned musicians and collectors worldwide. 

 Commenced his career in 2004, training under his father's tutelage in Bogotá, Colombia, where he honed the art of instrument construction and restoration for four years. - In 2008, he established his own lutherie workshop and store, specializing in the creation and restoration of violins, violas, and cellos. - Forging professional relationships with luthiers and bow makers worldwide, including Claudio Amighetti (Cremona), Carlos Arcieri (New York), María Machado (Argentina), Giorgio Grisales (Cremona), Domingos Fazio (Brazil), and Andrea Spada (Brazil). - In 2017, 

Alessandro founded ALBERISTORE in Bogotá, Colombia, the largest instrument store of its kind in the country. Subsequently, he expanded his success to Lima, Peru, with ALBERISTORE PERÚ, and Santiago de Chile with ALBERISTORECHILE. Most recently, he ventured into the United States with ALBERISTOREUSA located in Mobile, Alabama. 

Recognized and invited to prestigious music festivals and conferences, including the Mississippi POI Music Festival sponsored by the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra from 2015 to 2019. During this time, he crafted a Viola that played a key role in the Premier Orchestral Institute's first international viola competition.

Served as a guest instructor at the Fine Arts Music Festival in Cartagena, conducting instrument clinics from 2016 to 2019. - Invited as a guest instructor for the Santiago de Chile Philharmonic Orchestra from 2017 to 2019. 

Contributed his expertise as a guest instructor at the National Conservatory of Music in Lima, Peru, from 2018 to 2021.

Alessandro's workshop is dedicated to the study of sound qualities, emphasizing sensitivity, tone, weight, beauty, and time, resulting in unparalleled works of art inspired by classical traditions. His instruments are known for their harmonic richness, projection, clear articulation, and sensitive calibration, with an aged varnish that matures beautifully over time.

Expertise in crafting instruments and bows for contemporary and classical musicians worldwide, occasionally creating historically accurate configurations for period performance. 

He is also a master in the restoration of fine antique instruments, preserving their original structure and appearance using techniques developed over the years.
