An intimate and captivating night of chamber music, Echoes & Fire brings together warmth, depth, and passion in a beautifully curated program.

The evening opens with a cello quartet, offering rich and resonant arrangements of classical favorites, showcasing the depth and versatility of the instrument. The program then features the POI faculty quintet, performing the first and final movements of Schubert’s String Quintet, a masterpiece filled with lyricism, contrast, and emotional intensity.

Echoes & Fire is a chamber music experience that moves from elegance to excitement—an unforgettable journey through sound, connection, and expression. A selections from Schubert’s String Quintet performed by the POI faculty quintet, and a vibrant tango-inspired finale by the Tango Rendezvous Ensemble.

Following the success of last year’s Tango Rendezvous, tango returns to Mississippi for a truly special evening. Join us on Wednesday, June 10th at the Tangos Under the Stars at the Capital Towers for a captivating program dedicated to the music of Astor Piazzolla.

Set against one of the most beautiful views in the city, this concert promises an unforgettable blend of passion, elegance, and energy—brought to life by exceptional artists in an intimate atmosphere.
