Students may choose to stay overnight for both sessions or one.
*Room and board are not available to local students in the Da Capo and Young Haydn program*
Room and Board
Each hall offers suite-style accommodation, with two students per room sharing a bathroom. In total, four students will share one bathroom.
Students residing in the residence halls MUST BRING

Comforter
Pillow
No beddings will be provided by POI.
Check-in at Dorms
Session 1, June 2nd from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm (International, out-of-state students) at Millsaps College, Jackson, MS
Session 2, June 9th from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm (International, out-of-state students) at The University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, MS.
Transportation
This is for students arriving to the Jackson Airport.
The Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport is the nearest, most convenient airport to POI campus. We will be providing transportation between this airport and the dormitories only.
You may also fly into other airports nearby such as the Memphis International Airport or the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport but participants flying into a different airport MUST be responsible for their own ground transportation to POI campus.
NOTE: POI will not provide transportation for any participant before June 2nd or after June 16th, 2023. Please take this information into account when making your travel arrangements. If you scheduled your trip before and after the arranged dates you will have to plan a stay and we will not cover these expenses or transportation.
